1. Compilation and optimization of welding process

-Make welding procedure specification (WPS) according to the head materials (such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc.) to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as GB 12337 and GB 50094, etc.).

-Optimize welding parameters (current, voltage, welding speed, etc.) to improve welding efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Welding quality control

-Supervise the welding process, ensure the weld quality meets the flaw detection standards (such as JB 4730), and deal with welding defects (such as blowholes and cracks).

-Be responsible for welder skill training and assessment to ensure that the operation meets the process requirements.

3. Equipment and tooling management

-Maintain welding equipment (such as automatic welding machine, argon arc welding machine, etc.) and design welding fixture to improve production efficiency.

-Participate in the selection of new equipment and the introduction of automatic welding technology (such as robot welding).

4. Technical documents and standards implementation

-Prepare welding procedure qualification report (PQR), welding operation instruction, and file technical data.

-Ensure that the production conforms to the relevant laws and regulations of pressure vessels (such as the Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Fixed Pressure Vessels).

5. Production coordination and problem solving

-Cooperate with production and quality inspection departments to solve technical problems during welding.

-Participate in the process improvement of head products and improve the product qualification rate.

Skills requirements:

1. Testing technical ability

-Familiar with nondestructive testing methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT) and penetrant testing (PT).

-Able to operate X-ray flaw detector, ultrasonic flaw detector and other equipment independently.

2. Data analysis and report writing

-Be able to accurately interpret radiographic films or ultrasonic shapes, identify defect types and evaluate their effects.

3. Equipment maintenance and management

-Responsible for routine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of testing equipment.

-Familiar with darkroom operation (such as film processing and film archiving).

1. Responsibility and safety awareness

-Strictly observe the safety operation procedures to ensure that the testing process meets the radiation protection requirements.

-Be able to adapt to confined space detection and have strong risk awareness.

2. Teamwork and communication skills

-Close cooperation with welding engineers and quality inspection departments is required, and timely feedback of inspection problems is required.

-Be able to guide junior inspectors or welders to improve quality.

3. Adaptability and pressure resistance

-Be able to work overtime (such as on-site inspection or emergency projects).
